Since 2003, Victoria Spence and Life Rites have served the Greater Sydney region and surrounding communities as Sydney’s only trauma-informed, doula-led holistic funeral directors and celebrants.
In 2019 we opened the doors of The Boutique Funeral Home, located in Hurstville in the heart of South Sydney. This funeral home harks back to an era where your local funeral director was a valued member of your community. Who knew the people they cared for, and who provided this care in a people-centred and scaled funeral home, with all facilities onsite. We are extremely fortunate to be holding one of these gems. We have a calm and quiet space where you can make arrangements that reflect the life of the person you wish to celebrate and farewell.

Whilst our funeral home is in Hurstville, we continue to serve families across the city and state with team members across Sydney, the Illawarra, Shoalhaven and the Central Coast.
With deep compassion and respect, we’ve conducted thousands of funerals and guided countless families through these rites of passage.
