Roslyn passed away on Friday 16th January. Roslyn was the wife of Barry Leal, who she adored and who, like her, died at the age of eighty-two. The mother of Suzanne and David and the grandmother of Addison, Alex, Dominic, Xavier and Miranda. Roslyn took pleasure in her extended family and in the friendships that sustained her.
Roslyn delighted in being part of Pitt Street Uniting Church where she was cherished and always made to feel special.
Teaching was her great love and under her guidance, children who had struggled, or who were new to this country, began to read and develop their communication skills.
Always wanting well for others, Roslyn’s strength and resilience would have impressed the Stoics themselves.
